It’s gonna be a great year. In a few days, we will embark on a grand adventure: “The Voyage of the Dawn Treader” by C.S. Lewis. This will be a good opportunity to compare and contrast the book with movie (to be released December 2010). Watch the trailer:

Just finished reading chapter 7 of the Noticer. I am looking forward to seeing Voyage of the Dawn Treader on Saturday!
I just read chapter 7 of the Noticer. I really liked Jones’ description of the small stuff as he explained it pertaining to Napoleon and the Battle of Waterloo.
I know, right? The way Andy Andrews weaves history with the story is brilliant writing! Take “notice” of his writing style! See you Saturday!

i have finshed the noticer and love it. I finshed it on the nook so it was a whole new tpye of reading. I saw a lot of senctes that started with and. in abeka and is like a bad word

Yes, AND is not the best way to start a sentence, but as your writing matures, you will learn how
to use if wisely and effectively! That is why so many elementary, middle school writing programs
train you to NOT use it — but as your writing develops, you can use it appropriately.

i am geting great grades on my test in gramer and i have leared so much from you but the hard parts is adding it to the paper. thank you i will email you my address and hugs to you. i loved the book. i wish that one day i can write like Andy Andrew. He got to a point were i was bitting my nails i was up all night reading and would not but it down hanging on to every word.
